By renting a scooter from Victor Angkor Rides, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following terms and conditions.
Drivers must be at least **18 years old**.
A valid motorbike driving license is required. An International Driving Permit is strongly recommended.
Renters must have prior riding experience and be confident operating a scooter in varying traffic conditions.
Victor Angkor Rides reserves the right to refuse rental to anyone deemed unfit or inexperienced for safety reasons.
Riding a scooter involves inherent risks. By accepting the vehicle, the renter voluntarily assumes full responsibility for their safety, passengers, and personal belongings.
Victor Angkor Rides shall not be held liable for:
Accidents or injuries
Loss or damage to personal property
Traffic violations or fines
Negligent or reckless driving
Third-party damages
Helmets are provided and strongly recommended for both driver and passenger.
A refundable security deposit may be required before the rental begins.
The deposit may be used to cover:
Vehicle damage
Lost keys
Unpaid fines
Late returns
Excessive cleaning fees
The remaining balance will be returned once the scooter is inspected and confirmed in good condition.
The scooter will be provided in safe and working condition.
We recommend renters inspect the vehicle at pickup and document its condition with photos or video.
By accepting the scooter, you confirm it is in proper condition.
The renter is financially responsible for any damage or loss occurring during the rental period, including but not limited to:
Collision damage
Tire or wheel damage
Engine misuse
Broken mirrors or lights
Theft due to negligence
Repair costs will be based on local market rates.
Scooters are intended for normal road use within the Siem Reap and Angkor region unless otherwise agreed.
The following are **not permitted**:
Off-road riding
Racing or stunt driving
Carrying more than 2 passengers
Riding under the influence of alcohol or drugs
Allowing an unauthorized person to operate the vehicle
Violation of these rules may result in immediate termination of the rental without refund.
Fuel is not included unless stated.
Scooters should be returned with the same fuel level as provided.
Please return the scooter at the agreed time.
Late returns may incur additional hourly or daily charges.
If you need more time, contact us in advance — we are happy to assist when possible.
Road and weather conditions in Cambodia can change quickly.
Renters should ride cautiously, especially during rain, nighttime, or heavy traffic.
If conditions feel unsafe, we strongly advise postponing your ride.
In the unlikely event of a mechanical problem, contact Victor Angkor Rides immediately.
Do not attempt major repairs without approval.
Free cancellation:** Up to 24 hours before rental start time
Same-day cancellations / No-shows:** May be charged in full
By taking possession of the scooter, you confirm that:
You are qualified to ride
You accept all risks associated with scooter travel
You agree to these terms without exception
